Eyes planted upon the computer screen, Kiku busily typed away, intent on making adequate progress on his English Project. The project had been assigned only a day earlier, but ever the determined student, he wanted to get started on it as soon as possible. From experience, he knew that it was best to finish assignments in advance, rather than procrastinate until the last moment.
He had personally never done so, but the young man had seen the consequences of this time and time again, as his fellow classmates had expressed their utter disappointment at having earned a mediocre grade because of their lack of preparation and management. It was a simple matter really, and Kiku couldn't quite understand why his classmates didn't spend more time on their assignments. Grades and schoolwork were far more important than social events; for him anyway.
As he finished typing for a moment, Kiku leaned over, unzipping his backpack and pulling out a book. Holding it up, he observed it."The Phantom of the Opera" was worded across the cover in big white letters, accompanied by a white mask and a rose. The young man was unsure of whether or not he would find the book enjoyable, but he figured he would at least give it a chance.
Regardless, Kiku knew he'd have to read it anyway, as his project required him to have a detailed understanding of the novel. Not only would he need to fill out note sheets explaining various scenes, but he would be expected to write a lengthy research report as well, including elements from the novel. For now, he had constructed a basic assignment sheet, planning when he would begin certain aspects of the project, and how much time would be spent on them.
Finishing the assignment sheet, Kiku glanced around for a moment. There were only a select few students present within the computer lab, beside himself. This was ideal for him, as the room was rather quiet, allowing him to work more effectively. Despite the lack of students, he had even taken the liberty to sit at the end of his row, as far away from his classmates as possible.
Having other people surrounding him tended to be distracting, whether they proved to be noisy or not. Kiku simply felt more comfortable not having someone sitting ridiculously close to him. Luckily, given the current circumstances, this wasn't a problem. The students currently present were working, he noticed, unlike those that tended to visit the computer lab to search for obscene images and make complete fools of themselves.
Having turned back to his computer once more, Kiku overlooked the document, searching for any errors. After correcting a select few, he saved it. He then stood, retrieving the document he had printed moments before. The young man walked toward the printer in a quiet manner, not wanting to disturb the other students as they worked. However, once he returned to his desk, document in hand. He froze. His book was gone. Eyebrows furrowed, he glanced around, searching for the misplaced piece of literature. It has to be around here somewhere... It wasn't long until he spotted it, hidden beneath the corner of the desk.
Somehow, it had fallen through the crease, well out of view. Relieved, Kiku bent down, reaching for the book. "Itai!" A loud thunk in the otherwise silent computer room, as his head hit the desk. Rubbing his head, he emerged, noticing the surprised stares of the other students. "I am very sorry. Prease excuse me." With an apology, he placed the book, along with his work in his bag, feeling slightly embarrassed. With a sigh, he continued, feeling rather relieved that only a handful of students had seen his clumsy actions.

The day had gone by rather slowly, reviewing mostly for quizzes and tests all day had been unnecessary and tedious. The only remedy for such things? Skipping class! Meandering down the hallway Adelina managed to dodge most of her teachers, but frowned seeing as the Bad Touch Trio actually appeared to have gone to their classes for the day. And of course it was that time of day where she didn't have a class with Gilbert. Sighing softly she ran a pale hand through her long auburn locks, tugging the dark curls. She pursed her lips as she turned down one of the numerous hallways. What was she going to do now? Thoughts swam through her head, momentarily the Left Wing popped through her mind, but that wasn't any fun alone.
She could always hang out on the roof until lunch, ah but it had been rather chilly outside today and the thought of that was rather unpleasant. Sighing to herself in the empty hallway she danced down the hallway, humming to herself a Spanish tune, which was odd for the small German girl but hey what did you expect from a girl who had a Spanish friend who loved to dance? Twirling herself around while swaying her arms in the air she noticed she was passing by the computer lab.
Hmm...useful. She pondered to herself quietly.
Entering the room she shivered from the cool air and looked around. It was silent, most students clicking away at their computers in studious harmony. Pursing her lips she sat in the front row, away from everyone else and plugged in the headphones she kept with her for emergency situations. Quietly clacking away at the keyboard she surfed through a few sites of various topics, but quickly found herself becoming bored without the boys around to scold for looking up dirty pictures.
Leaning back in her seat she turned to gaze around, and managed to catch sight of Kiku as he stood. Considering she seated herself in the row in front of him she watched him out of boredom and glanced at his work space. Leaning back in her chair as curiosity consumed her she glanced at the title of his book and smiled. Momentarily raising her hand to pick up the book she lost her footing and started falling back from her chair. Quickly catching herself on the table, the surface shook and caused the book to fall. Heart racing she didn't notice the descent of the object as she righted herself, scolding herself for leaning back so far rather than turning around.
Not noticing the panicked Japanese man behind her she jumped as he yelled out, and spun around to see him rubbing his head. She bit her lip, seeming guilty, and stood for a moment to lean over his computer and see if he was alright.
"Ah, are you alright? I'm sorry, I bumped into the table and I hadn't realized the book fell until just now."

At the sound of the concerned voice, Kiku turned, looking up at at the girl. He was a bit startled for a moment, not realizing she had been sitting in the row in front of him. After placing his schoolwork in his bag, though, he stood, showing her that he was alright.
"It's no probrem. I'm fine, thank you. "
Glancing over at her once more, although unsure of her name, he noticed that she looked familiar, as if he'd seen her around the school. Leaning over to turn off the computer, he thought for a moment, trying to remember where exactly he had seen her. Kiku assumed she wasn't a Senior, as he was positive she wasn't in any of his classes...
Of course. Gilbert. He had seen this girl with Gilbert. He was sure of it. Weren't they in a relationship? He wasn't positive, but he believed so. That explained it alright. How could you not notice him after all, seeing as how he tended to cause trouble quite often. Kiku personally didn't have anything against Gilbert, or Francis and Antonio, he simply didn't want to get caught up in their antics.
"You're friends with Girbert, aren't you?"
Unsure of the full extent of their relationship, he decided it would be best to refer to them as friends, not wanting to wrongly assume they were something more, if they, in fact, were not. Looking at this girl, it was difficult for him to believe that she enjoyed spending time with someone like Gilbert, as she seemed so... innocent. Nevertheless, he was aware that appearances could be quite deceiving, and knew he shouldn't doubt the likely possibility.
Turning, Kiku let out a relieved sigh. The student's attention had returned to their keyboards, making him feel a bit more comfortable. He didn't particularly like being the center of attention, even in the presence of only a few students.
The young man slung his backpack over his shoulder, adjusting it. Despite the minor book issue, he had been successful in his work. Even then, the matter wasn't much of a problem. He was finished here, though, and was ready to spend the remainder of his free time elsewhere. Politely, however, he waited for the girl's response, wishing to confirm whether his recollection was valid or not.
Muse: Decent Song: PONPONPON Notes: Good. I like it. xD

The small girl pouted out of habit, not from being upset but just a general reaction she had when told something. Despite him brushing off her apology with his reassurance she still wasn’t fully convinced. Standing in a small awkward silence for a moment she sighed and collected her bag, pursing her lips as she double checked to make sure she had collected all of her belongings. It would be troublesome later on should she have forgotten anything.
She glanced up at the sound of his voice again, and a wide smile spread across her lips. Gilbert, her one connection between the seniors, considering everyone knew who he was (it was impossible not to) and most people knew who she was since she kept him in line.
“Ja! I’m his girlfriend.”
She flushed with pleasure at the response, even after all this time she was still giddy about saying the phrase out loud. Young love she supposed, after all the two always did seemed utterly wrapped in each other. But with Gilbert came great responsibility and great stress, she pondered quietly. The fact she did all of his work for him was proof.
“Your Kiku Honda ja?”
If her memory served right, which it usually did, she knew most of the names of the seniors between her times with the Trio. She’d either met or at least seen most of them, and heard about the rest through reputations and rumors. From what she’d gathered between Francis and Gilbert, Kiku was a bookish type like her who did all of his work early, but didn’t talk much.
