Well he certainly has an energy about him. Even if he is a little bit annoying I can see Mei at least respecting his happy-go-lucky attitude since she likes happy people (even though she would tell him if he was annoying her). So perhaps Acquaintances? Or perhaps they could become friends of some sort (eh its late so my brain has turned to mush)

Mei should totes be his woman-- cough, girlfriend-- She'd have to get use to his "wife" which is what he decided the Teacher Yao Wang is, but all in all, Yong Soo is mostly just deeply attached to Yao like Yao's a big brother (and of course with Yong Soo it comes out wrong.) Und I think Mei would be a good influence for Soo? Since she's a lot calmer, maybe -not likely- but maybe she can calm him down to a level that people like his bro Kyu won't want to kill him at. And he's very affectionate, unnnd even if he does grope other people (orz, she'd have to get use to that, I'm not helping my case, am I?), he'd be pretty loyal? Since he's so straightforward, I'd bet she'd be too shocked to flat out reject if he asked her out und that could some how work against her annoyance with him in his favor?

Oh gosh this could be so much fun, I imagine Mei being more than shocked if he asked her out, and she's to kind to flat out reject him (and-far-to-shell-shocked) so if he did ask her out I think she'd be at a loss at what to do. And Yong Soo being Yong Soo I imagine he'd take her surprise as a yes or something crazy like that. After a little while once she's gotten used to him she'd find him quite endearing. But yes, She'd try her best to be a a calming infuence, though she's pretty easily led so any hair brained schemes anyone comes up with... anyway I digress.
Mei-Mei can be quite insecure to, so I imagine at first she kinda wouldn't believe him to be sincere but if he could prove her wrong then I imagine she'd warm to him! but this could be an awesome plot.

hooray sounds good! And all in all, I can't really think of anything >.< my mind literally turns to mush when I try to be creative. I'm sure something awesome will turn up, specially once we consider Yong Soo's dramatics and Mei's shyness... (gonnabesocute))
