It was a habitual routine what the girl from Seychelles almost always did after school, it wasn't a terrible routine or anything, simply the habit of going to the Ice Cream Parlor in town after school, as long as she had money that was where she headed almost every day after school. She had a rather big sweet tooth, and looked at getting a treat as a reward after a long day at school taking notes and studying. That's the reason why she was headed in to town, a bright smile on her face that always seemed to be there. She was friendly and optimistic, so she smiled a lot, even if she had no reason to. It could be a happy smile or a nervous smile, it didn't matter what kind it was just almost always there.
"I wonder what kind of ice cream I should get, yesterday I go strawberry..." The brunette trailed off as she thought out loud, rubbing her chin in a thinking manner as she pondered over what flavor. She loved chocolate, but she always got chocolate. Maybe she should try a flavor she hadn't before, or mix it up and get three scoops on one cone? That sounded fun, but she'd have to eat it fast enough before it melted! Then again, it wasn't summer so she could probably take her time. Doesn't matter anyway, I'll just be sure to grab some napkins! She thought, nodding in agreement with herself. She would complain about the distance from the school to the Ice Cream Parlor, but she was an extremely active girl so the distance wasn't anything to her. She loved swimming and running around, so she wasn't one to become faint easily, not even in the sun due to the fact she spent plenty of time outside back in her homeland, Seychelles!
Soon enough, the brunette reached the ice cream shop, catching site of the door the smile on her face widened and she hurriedly went in, the bells on the door jingling as she opened, and she got a 'hello!' from one of the workers. "Yo!" She greeted back, grinning slightly as she walked over to the glass that covered the many flavors of ice cream. There was a small line, so she took this opportunity to see if she could make up her mind while she waited. Hopefully no one would think she was trying to cut, because she honestly wasn't! She could be patient, it wasn't like ordering ice cream took a great deal of challenge, and neither did making it! It wasn't like other food, where you had to prepare ingredients and such like that.
"The cookie and cream looks good, but then again so does the chocolate chip cookie dough... And the banana pudding ice cream... Maybe ordering is more difficult than I thought..." Arielle muttered to herself, scratching her cheek as she looked into the glass, a small pout on her face. Maybe she should just stack a lot of scoops up? No, with all the choices she would choose to add to the cone it'd surely tip over as soon as she walked outside. And then she wouldn't get any ice cream!
