First impressions of Francis: prince charming, pervert, flirt.

Most of these accusations would be true. Though no one is sure. Upon first meeting Francis, whether you are a boy or girl, he is likely to smile playfully in your direction, introduce himself, and then compliment you. That is one thing about him you can guarantee. He’s quite a flirt when you don’t know him well, which has earned him the status of “pervert” of the school, or more toward the ladies direction a “prince charming.” He’s overall very loyal and friendly, having few enemies and on good terms with most.

He respects everyone until they give him a reason to disrespect them. One thing he can’t stand is ill actions toward women. He respects women more than he does men and is always an advocate for defending them, being one to come to the rescue no matter the situation, or even if his help isn’t wanted. This more than likely stems from an inner guilty feeling of being unable to help his own mother who is in a coma, and projecting that will to save her onto other girls who are in need of minor help within his abilities.

Within this theme is his flirtatiousness. Despite being seen as a pervert he doesn’t take relationships to a serious level without getting to know someone first, even if it seems as though he’s being pushy. If he takes a genuine interest in someone he tends to become very fixated on them, and loves a good chase. If you actually manage to get him and keep him, he is utterly loyal and automatically will stop flirting with others, and proudly declare that he is taken.

Francis is a loyal friend, no matter how much trouble he gets in or his friends get in. Even if a fight is hopeless or a plan is doomed to fail he’s there to the end, even if he’s the cautious one unsure about it all. He tries to be the voice of reason to a certain extent, and if there is no immediate danger present he will more often than not go with the flow and follow the leader. Though he does know when limits are reached, and will strive hard to keep the worst of the trouble away from his friends.

Underneath all of his smiles, is a very sad young man. He dislikes talking about himself, and he’s grateful for at least one friend with an arrogance that can’t be matched (Gilbert hurr durr.) He tries to deflect the conversation away from himself as much as possible if he feels people are getting too close, and at times can become noticeably agitated if an issue is pushed. He can often take on a “caged animal” persona when he’s frustrated, and can lash out in a fit of nervous rage if the other person doesn’t back down. He tries to keep people at a distance in fear of being hurt, and there is only one or two people besides himself in the school who know about his mother, and about why he avoids going home.

Mei && Francis
With his status as the schools 'pervert' I imagine that Mei-Mei would be quite wary of him, but I can also see if he ever did try flirting with her she wouldn't pick up on it. Needless to say, Mei probably wouldn't mind Francis in the long run since she likes to believe she can make friends with everyone but I can't see them being anymore than mutual acquaintances?
