The next thing he knew, Yong Soo had grabbed his hand and was rushing off again. What was it with his brother and holding his hand? What was he, four? That was something only kids did. They were both nearly grown and here was Yong Soo still holding his hand like they were in preschool. It was embarrassing, but he let him pull him out of the store without too much fuss.
That was, of course, until he started talking again.
He almost stopped in his tracks in the middle of their trek to the next store just to drill Yong Soo about the things he’d just said. “What? I am not a woman. Why do you and Al keep trying to insist that I am?”
What Yong Soo had been saying, to Kyu anyway, sounded like an awful lot like sarcasm. What else could it have been? Sang Kyu kept following along, but he was beginning to put up a fuss now, trying to get his hand free and walking much more slowly than he had been before. He shouldn’t have let Yong Soo lead. He must have invited him to walk into all the crazy stores and then insist Kyu was a woman by letting him do so. Clearly Yong Soo couldn’t be trusted to carry out even the simplest of tasks without doing something to try and embarrass Kyu.
Finally, and to Kyu’s relief, Yong Soo brought them to a store that looked more or less normal. No crazy colors or questionably cut clothes. Just plain old stuff. “Thank you. You finally picked a store that doesn’t suck. Now let’s go find some clothes.”
((I’m sorry I made you wait a freakishly long time again. :C I had tests.))
